EV Belgium et le MOBI Electromobility Research Centre (VUB) vous invitent à célébrer ensemble une étape importante pour la mobilité électrique en Belgique : la réalisation du 100 000e point de recharge public !

EV Belgium trouve ses origines à la VUB, où ont été semées en 1978 les premières graines de ce qui est aujourd'hui devenu la fédération sectorielle nationale pour la mobilité électrique. Revenir à cet endroit, en collaboration avec MOBI, revêt donc une signification particulière.

Nous démarrons le programme au LIC Brussels, boulevard de la Plaine 2, 1050 Bruxelles – le tout nouveau Learning and Innovation Center qui a récemment été inauguré avec fierté par l'ULB et la VUB.

Philippe Vangeel (directeur d'EV Belgium) et le professeur Joeri Van Mierlo, directeur fondateur du MOBI Electromobility Research Centre, vont entrer en conversation avec d'autres intervenants sur l'évolution et les défis de l'électromobilité dans notre pays.

Nous nous rendons ensuite au MOBI Electromobility Research Centre, près du bâtiment Z, où nous trinquerons ensemble à l'avenir de notre secteur. Vous pourrez y découvrir les dernières générations de bornes de recharge, y compris une borne bidirectionnelle, et discuter avec l'équipe MOBI.

Nous envoyons ainsi un signal neutre et fort sur le fond : nous allons célébrer les progrès réalisés à l'échelle du secteur et souligner la pertinence sociale de l'infrastructure de recharge mais aussi aborder les défis liés à la capacité du réseau, aux compétences, à l'intégration des systèmes et à d'autres aspects qui ont dû être surmontés afin d'atteindre l'objectif de 100 000 bornes de recharge.

EV Belgium and the MOBI Electromobility Research Centre (VUB) invite you to celebrate an important milestone for electric mobility in Belgium: the achievement of the 100,000th public charging point!

EV Belgium has its origins at the VUB, where in 1978 the first seeds were sown for what has now grown into the national sector federation for electric mobility. Returning to this place, in collaboration with MOBI, therefore feels special and meaningful.

We will start the programme at LIC Brussels, Pleinlaan 2, 1050 Brussels – the brand new Learning and Innovation Centre that was recently opened with pride by ULB and VUB.

Here, Philippe Vangeel (director of EV Belgium) and Professor Joeri Van Mierlo, founding director of MOBI Electromobility Research Centre – together with other speakers – will discuss the evolution and challenges of electromobility in our country.

Afterwards, we will head to the MOBI Electromobility Research Centre at building Z, where we will raise a glass to the future of our sector. There, you can discover the latest generations of charging stations, including a bidirectional charging station, and talk to the MOBI team.

This will send a neutral and strong message: we are celebrating sector-wide progress, emphasising the social relevance of charging infrastructure and addressing the challenges surrounding grid capacity, skills, system integration and more in order to reach that target of 100,000 charging stations.
